I only see Loi and Dams these days. no sign of Pwek and Beryl. but Loi said she met Pwek somwhere and mentioned something about her hair. hmmmm... I'm interested. oh yeah. LOI CUT HER HAIR, TOO! and I cut mine, as well! I mean I cut it myself. hah! but i was too scared to cut longer than 2inches cuz it's my first time. hah hah hah...  hmm... Beryl is in Cebu. we're not sure if she's staying for college or what. oh well. i guess we'll have to wait for her word.

OH my GOD. i haven't written for so long!!!!

That's my usual entrance, i know. Well considering the fact that i can't almost breathe for the past months, i left my journal hanging. there's no more news... i mean.

SENIOR LIFE IS TERRIBLY KILLING ME.At the same time, it's fun. the killing-me part is just that schenduels are so tight and that you can't eat because of pressure on academics and non-academics... whatever. Anyway, our first performance as what dodo told you didn't turn right like what we expected but it's okay.

More news next time. i guess everything's over now, the plays, the practices that's why i can already move. whatever. lol. keep rockin and i'll be back...

      December 25 has gone and passed but the Christmas spirit lingers, doesn't it?

      Anyway, last night, I received a message from MR. Benji. after a few greetings, he told me that he's taking his drums back on January but if we still need it he might extend. He's so kind, isn't he? He reminds me of that fat jolly old man in red who appears on our chimney every Christmas. Not because of his kindness but because he's fat. Hah! [go ahead, Santa, add my name up on the "Naughty" list. it't not like you actually send me gifts or something.=P] Kidding! [or am I?]

      Another thing. That bubble-eye Chinese girl I'm gonna keep anonymous by the name Beryl said she's coming over for Christmas. Well? I woke up this morning with a message from her telling me she's in CEBU. But that's okay. at least she's reconciled with her mom.

      Besides these, no news from the other girls. They're still savoring their vacation with their family and they don't wish to be bothered. Well, let them cuz they deserve it and that includes me! We're all sick of school. Aren't you? Yeah.

          ...yeah, about the first show in the history of our career as bandsters? well, it didn't turn out the way we expected it to be. Don't get me wrong, though, I didn't regret it. We all didn't. It was a great opportunity for us, although we made bluders while onstage.

    Actually, it was not so bad for first-timers like us to put up a six-to-eight-songs show without enough rehearsals. Believe it or not, we only had [the afternoon of] the day before to rehearse, and some of the songs we took up, we weren't able to play during the big show. But mom said it was okay [I wonder if she only said that cuz she's my mom] and our friends said it was okay, too, except for Wake Me Up When September ends and Baby One More Time [bowling for soup version. not Britney. no way]. the whole show in general? It was rad![I said that one]

      Anyway, I'm proud of what we had. Believe me, we can definitely do better, as long as you give us a chance.

         By the way, Nic quit because her 'rents have been standing on her way. We all mourn for that. We're all gonna miss Nic...  but maybe not quite cuz we see each other five days a week except for holidays, right, Nic? But we're gonna miss her, anyhow...

Hey! Loi here. Not much story but you know, I contacted Sheryl. She’s still in Manila and I asked for some news. YOU KNOW WHAT!!!!?!?!?!?

          We had a new help contact. Some dude liked her and is well, ‘courting’ her and this dude is in a band whom also, is willing to help us.

          Whoah. God is good all the time.

          Is it my or Dodo’s fault that The Calling and Simple Plan is using all of their instruments for practices and that we can’t ask for one?!

          Hey. Remember. They are international performers and they can’t easily lend one some band tools. We already managed to ask some help from them and usual answer?

          Well, of course, they’re busy. Imagine if you’re on their shoes and they can’t show up to you, for like... almost half a year just to tour the world and perform? Of course, we need help from local people to help us too, Men. TC and SP are so packed with schedules....

          So!!!!!!!!! I asked her to ask that dude if we could have some guitar and she said - no probs. She’ll tell him.

Not quite a good title but that’s the truth... Actually, we also scheduled today will be our next practice since last Saturday. And we finally decided every Saturday would be our practice for rocking on December’s sake-we NEED EVERYDAY if possible of the rest of the summer to practice!!!!!!!! So, we all expected Nic to come. S***. But she called me up and told me she couldn’t make it. THAT PLACED ME ON CULTURE SHOCK. For some reason.....................

          BIG S***!! She’s grounded.

          GROUNDED?!?!?!?!?! Where are her parents anyway?!?!?! Can we come and lock them out so Nic could go?! We need her BADLY... She said since she already made great escapes for millions of times, she must stay at home and was not permitted to go out. [So, it’s like, she’s in a tower or something waiting for her prince to kill the dragon] This is not happening ever...It’s like, I was placed on a terrible world and words are flying in the sky and words like ‘yeah, nick’s not coming, so prepare your voice, chick’ are echoing on my ears!!!!!!!!!

          I can write. Ok. Are we clear with that?!?! You can make me write for a whole day and make a book of senseless sonnets and request stupid poems for a day or a week... I can assure you that.

          BUT SING?!?!?!?!?!?!

          Oh my God. Where on earth am I going to get the voice for that?! Well ok. I can sing in exchange for another 2 months vacation for The Calling. Make it 5 months of vacation and I’ll sing forever.

          You see, Beryl’s still not home, so that means, I’ll do her guitar-strumming although my strumming sounds so bad, I’m still having extra guitar lessons from Alex whenever his vacation comes so I’ll take that part and now, our ever beautiful vocalist is telling me she’s not coming on this session?!?!?!

          Men, I can’t sing. Ok. Arrow on Maliz now. Wait. Can she sing while studying her drum playing?! Dodo?! Let’s see. I guess she already asked Dave to help her on back vocals so I guess that’s a little help.

          Ok. I arrived at their house in the afternoon and everything was set. We jammed again and practiced more on Zombie, then Baby one more time by Bowling for soup. Uhm . Excuse me, Crush Britney here. She totally suck and all the people knows that. Baby one more time is a rock version made by Bowling for soup. Actually, my hand aches right after the first chorus coz all the chords have bars on them... So, could you imagine the pain?! And also for a fact that my fingers are short...Whatever, we still managed to jam up.

          I can’t believe it. I sang. But as time flies, my voice cracked on:

          Right after that, all of us stopped... [‘All’ sounded like there are many of us when there are only Maliz, Dodo and I. MANY, aren’t we?!] I mean, we all laughed our hearts off!!!!! That was a funny moment...

          Beijing sent us a text message if we had a jam... We had a little plan about that... Even though we don’t like him around, we made him come as long as he can see that we’re using his drums. Plus, also, he’ll never come again right after today. Heh heh heh!!!! We’re so cruel. But hello, we’re not so comfortable with any guy around hanging with us too, like nothing... Plus, the one he likes isn’t here. She’s grounded so if ever he just went over to Nick’s instead of wasting time in going here, I’ll reply to his text messages ALWAYS. And IMMEDIATELY. Men, he’s really uninvited.

          And UNWANTED. The Village speaks.

          Ok. He came. We had our one last song and then we all hurried to go home. We all pretended except for Maliz who’s already in a real hurry to go home coz she promised someone she’ll attend some baptismal ceremony or something.

          No prob-she asked permission from her mom and-

          So! Still no prob, her parents not knowing but still, she told her young sister about this session...

          She went home first then followed by me [Not to mention, my cousin came to watch us prac] and my cuz and...DODO?! Left alone?!

          No way! She went with me to the mall although it’s not PART OF HER FREAKING PLAN. You know-just to escape from Beijing...

          Good riddance. Beryl is still not coming home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          That’s one of the biggest problems we have for the moment... Since she’s not yet here, I’m taking her part and there’s no lead...of course, A song can still be a song without special plucking effects but a song can never be a song if there’s no rhythm...
